What We Treat

Johnson Chiropractic is accepting new patients! We treat all walks of life, including: babies, children, athletes, and senior citizens. The general public often perceives chiropractors as spinal doctors (specializing in the treatment of back and neck pain), and while it is true that the majority of chiropractic patients are treated for issues affecting the spine, chiropractors are trained to correct a multitude of other conditions. Our doctors are trained to treat conditions of the neuromusculoskeletal system. We use the chiropractic adjustment to restore motion of the joints in your body and to correct improper alignment, which leads to healing and restoration of function. Drs. Tom, and Sydney primarily use diversified and Gonstead chiropractic techniques in providing care to patients.

The following are examples of conditions/symptoms that Chiropractors treat, but are not limited to:

• Joint pain: (chronic or acute from injury) elbow, knee, wrist, finger, ankle, shoulder
  
• Muscle weakness: decreased grasp, leg weakness/heaviness
  
• Muscle pain: with or without movement, spasm, soreness, thigh pain
  
• Radicular symptoms: pain, tingling, or numbness in the arms or legs (sciatica)
  
• Pelvic pain with pregnancy
  
• Upper back/ shoulder pain and tightness
  
• Children’s issues: colic, chronic ear infections, chronic colds
  
• Headaches
  
• Neck pain, mid-back pain, rib pain, low back pain, sacroiliac pain/dysfunction, hip pain
